Interesting Fact: The partially enclosed area was inspired by the form of a weeping beech tree. It provides shade and shadow play and features projection/light-table/floor exploration.
Awards: Cincinnati Design Awards - Honorable Mention, Built Work

The new studio space (Atelier) for the Arlitt Center uplifts an underused corridor space and gives a permanent home to the core element of their Reggio-inspired curriculum. The child-centered space supports learning activities that come from the interest and passions of children and features artfully displayed materials at child height.
