Cincinnati — Greg Lewis has joined SHP Leading Design as design leader. In his role, Greg will lead design efforts of the firm from concept to detail to construction. He brings extensive knowledge in design management and development, along with experience in K-12, higher education and corporate work, to his new position.

Lewis joins SHP from KZF Design, where he served as director of design, leading a wide range of architectural projects locally, nationally and internationally. He is also the founder of an independent furniture design studio, Pleat Design, and his innovative furniture designs have been recognized in competitions in Chicago, New York and Germany.

A 2000 graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a bachelor’s degree in architecture, Lewis has also served as an adjunct professor for UC’s Design, Architecture, Art and Planning program.

“We are so excited to welcome someone of Greg’s design proficiency and personality to SHP, where he’ll join an already-deep bench of talented architects, designers and engineers,” says SHP vice president Jeffrey Sackenheim. “We are confident his experience and abilities will provide tremendous added value to our diverse client base. He’s a true collaborator and team builder and takes great pride in developing creative and thoughtful design solutions that have a timeless appeal and a lasting impact.”

“At SHP I have the opportunity to be a part of the conversation about the future of education, and what we as designers can do to shape the environments where this future will take place,” says Lewis. “Here, I have found people that share my passion, and a company with experience and vision to create amazing places for the future.”
