Wyoming City Schools: Dan Jones Center for Research and Innovation

Project Description
SHP was asked to reimagine an existing library space at Wyoming High School into the multi-modal Dan Jones Center for Research and Innovation, an interdisciplinary space that supports student brainstorming, invention, research, creation, and presentation. The design concept was created from Wyoming leadership vision with input from an interdisciplinary group of educators.

Project Features
- The design offers brainstorming zones, technology space, a fabrication lab, audio/visual labs, a gathering area for three to sixteen people, dense stack space and a formal presentation
room. - A presentation/gathering space was created from an under-used Rotunda area.
- A forward-thinking space for all students to be used for capstone projects.
