Thrills Built into the Landscape: Rather than relying on massive, towering steel structures, Wasserbahn Racers was specifically engineered to utilize the natural topography of the Texas Hill Country, built right into the park's existing hillside overlooking the Comal River.

Built directly into a natural hillside, Wasserbahn Racers is a high-speed, head-first mat racing slide designed for high-energy, side-by-side competition. In partnership with RSL, SHP provided comprehensive MEP engineering and site utility design to support the new attraction. Our team delivered the power distribution panels for the slide’s new pump house, engineered the pneumatic systems and control wiring pathways, and provided specialized lighting, plumbing, heating, and ventilation design for the ride’s dedicated water filtration building.
