- The modification of the entry and existing cubicle areas offers a flexible huddle space to serve staff and event functions and more office support space for the expanding staff.
- The reconfigured entry is more welcoming by providing an immediate, direct visual connection to the reception area.
- Improvements to lighting, ceiling, carpet, paint, window treatments, new graphics and AV/IT upgrades in the main event space.
- Updates to auxiliary spaces such as restrooms & storage.
Not Our First Rodeo at 60 W Charlton: In 2012, SHP designed a 33,000sf renovation that transformed under-utilized space in the building into highly-valued, active learning spaces and a unified location for academic support offices.
Architecture|Interior Design
This renovation of the African American Cultural & Resource Center (AACRC), located on the first floor of the 60 W Charlton Building on UC’s main campus, improves the look and functionality of the center. The design refreshes the main event space, the lounge area as well as office and conference spaces.
