SHP Leading Design has worked with Southern Baptist on a variety of projects, totaling over $12M. Attached to the main building, the 12,000 square foot McCall Pavilion provides a highly visible and welcoming entry to the campus, setting the tone and ambiance of the Southern Baptist experience. SHP-renovated connecting student services spaces including new Admissions area; a sandwich shop, men’s emporium and bookstore storefront; a combined post office, sundries shop and copy-service center; redesign of the expanded food service area; and renovating a second-floor student lounge. SHP also designed Towery Plaza, a formal outdoor gathering space by Norton Hall. Planning work includes an assessment and conceptual plan for Boyce Library as well as a housing master plan.
The McCall Pavilion was awarded First Place, Design Build Expansion over $5 Million from the Design Build Institute.
