Miami Trace High School is a showcase of modern learning for over 800 students. Flexibility and collaboration are two high priorities of the design, achieved with features such as operable classroom walls and large ELAs. The new high school joins the existing SHP-designed middle and elementary school on one central campus.
- Classrooms are separated into pods based on class subject, offering large ELAs, separate conference areas, and immersive technology.
- A large courtyard is accessible from the student dining, science, and classroom areas.
- Access to adjacent farmland ties in the surrounding area’s great tradition of agriculture.
- Additional LFI dollars were invested in the 1,400-seat competition gymnasium and 800-seat auditorium.
