Project Description

SHP provided electrical, plumbing and HVAC engineering design services for the new Kings Mills Antique Auto attraction at Kings Island. Removed in 2004, this family favorite ride made its return in 2019. This attraction included quarter mile track – with site lighting and power, floating fountains, station building, maintenance building and re-fueling station.

Project Features

  • Electrical and plumbing site improvements including demolition of existing buildings, secondary re-connections to existing loads, new site lighting with time clock control, new branch circuiting to site electrical devices and site plumbing design.
  • Electrical service improvements included coordinating outages with owner’s operating schedule and maintenance staff.
