Before a revamp in 2012, Hamilton High School’s athletic facilities were in desperate need of an upgrade. The resulting $12M in athletic improvements provides a new complex that enhances the student-athlete experience. A new arena sits adjacent to the stadium and athletic fields, creating a triangle of venues for varsity events.

"To fulfill the owner's desire to have spectators access their seats without walking on the gym floor, we designed the four-sided gym with a running track where spectators access seating from above."
– Todd Thackery, SHP
"The arena not only features a collegiate main court and two full cross courts, but a structural envelope that would support Olympic-class volleyball."
