Eastland-Fairfield Engineering Technologies Center

Project Description

With the goal of aligning programs offered (and the facilities that support them) with the interests of students and the community, Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools enlisted the help of SHP to design this new Engineering Technologies Center. The 43,000sf facility will serve a variety of Eastland-Fairfield programs including aviation, pre-engineering, welding and mechatronics (coming in Fall 2022).

  • 30 individual welding booths with top-rated exhaust systems.
  • Eight flight simulation stations.
  • A full-sized hangar with operable walls fit for three aeronautical vehicles.
  • State-of-the-art milling machinery.
  • Dedicated lab and instructional space with digital displays for each program.
  • A partitioned meeting room for up to 200 people.
  • Additional staff office and meeting space.
