Client: Cooking with Caitlin
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
  • Designed to accommodate 55 seats for patrons, centered around Caitlin’s kitchen where meals are prepared.
  • The act of teaching people how to cook is woven throughout the CWC brand, and is reflected in the restaurant design.
  • Paneled wood ceilings with long, narrow overhead lights complement the shape of the building, while chandeliers and strategic windows provide additional light.
  • A limited palette of materials defines the clean and crisp interiors: concrete, wood and stainless steel take center stage.
Interesting Fact: CWC, the Restaurant, is the brick & mortar realization of the wildly popular “Cooking with Caitlin” brand. The change-of-use renovation converted a vacant former car-wash building into an inviting restaurant space.
Architecture|Interior Design

This impressive renovation—and the brick and mortar realization of the wildly popular “Cooking with Caitlin” brand—transformed a vacant former car-wash building into an inviting restaurant space. The design is casual and comfortable, reflecting the art of teaching people how to cook that is intrinsic to the restaurant’s ethos.

"The use of materials—including a limited palette of materials that includes concrete, wood and stainless steel—achieves a simplistic but elegant interior on a limited budget."
