Modern Power, Rustic Charm: The ride's storyline mimics a high-stakes moonshine getaway, requiring SHP to seamlessly integrate modern power systems into buildings intentionally designed to look like rustic, weathered farm structures.

The Carolinas’ first double-launch coaster, Copperhead Strike features high-intensity inversions and rapid, close-to-the-ground maneuvers. In partnership with TRA Design, SHP provided complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering for nine distinct ride-themed structures, including the station house, maintenance facility, retail outlets, and multiple launch buildings. Our team also delivered the comprehensive site electrical design and infrastructure required to flawlessly power the ride’s dual-launch footprint.

"Designing the utilities and systems for nine different themed buildings was a great challenge, and our team loved building the infrastructure that brings this entire immersive area to life."
– Tom Poff, Associate Principal, SHP
