Project Description

Working with local police and fire departments, SHP designed an advanced training facility to meet today’s increasingly technological world of law enforcement and firefighting. The building’s contemporary design reflects the facility’s forward-thinking training focus. Various exterior forms represent the program diversity being housed inside the building.

  • A forensics lab ideal for learning the latest advancements in crime scene investigation.
  • A 20-lane indoor firearms range to allow law enforcement professionals to sharpen their skills in shooting accuracy and weapons safety.
  • A fire training facility including a five-story fire tower to train local fire fighters on fire fighting and rescue techniques.
  • Various-sized classrooms and high-end technology, including smart boards, fiber optic networking and wireless technology, create a flexible, future-focused learning environment.
