Michael Shoup

As SHP’s Technical Director, Michael manages and participates in the firm’s technical production. This includes the maintenance of production standards for drawings and specifications, reviewing and improving digital delivery processes and workflows, and collaborating with project teams. In his work, Michael always strives to bring practical and elegant solutions to design challenges through the application of building science and construction knowledge.

When his career is finally said and done, Michael hopes he looks back and sees buildings that positively impact the lives of all who experience them. Within the profession, he wants to know that he passed on his technical knowledge and dedication to as many young and aspiring architects and designers as possible.
