Accountable, efficient, prompt, reliable and hardworking. These are the five words Mary King hopes her coworkers would use to describe her. And she’d be right… but if we may be so bold, we’d like to add a sixth: indispensable!
A 30-year veteran of SHP, Mary is the manager of construction services and finance, or put more simply, billing specialist. In this role, she is a key contributor to all the behind-the-scenes operations at the firm, keeping financial records, project costs, contracts and change orders, billing and more.
“Mary keeps this whole ship afloat,” said SHP president Lauren Della Bella. “She has a lot on her plate from all of the finance and construction service assignments she has, but she takes it in stride, all with an incredible attitude… and her infectious laugh!”
