Jerry has been with SHP for nearly 20 years. In his current role, he is tasked with coordinating construction activities among SHP, our clients and contractors by visiting sites, issuing field reports, and participating in or leading construction-related meetings. Throughout his extensive career, Jerry has been a part of some of SHP’s most memorable projects, including his favorite, Northwest Local Schools’ new elementary buildings.

Jerry served as a teacher, coach and administrator in Northwest Local Schools before joining the SHP team. His background in education therefore gives him a unique perspective on the challenges, obstacles and opportunities facing many of our clients. Leveraging this experience for the benefit of client projects is one of Jerry’s greatest strengths. In fact, he loves seeing others succeed even more than he likes for himself to succeed.

“The Northwest Local Schools’ Elementary Buildings project was memorable because I spent 30 wonderful years in the district,” said Jerry. “Education has been my passion for 50 years and I find such joy in seeing staff and students enjoy the new spaces created and built that enhance their success.”
