Jeffrey Sackenheim

Jeffrey learned about architecture working at his dad’s residential construction business.  He was instantly enamored with the idea of being able to do something that married his creativity and burgeoning love of building things with his hands. Jeffrey loves being a part of a firm with such a storied legacy of improving communities through buildings that impact multiple generations. Part of SHP’s Design Excellence committee, Jeffrey has delivered design-forward projects for a variety of clients in his twenty years with the firm. He is thankful to be part of a firm that fully supports team member involvement. This includes past AIA Cincinnati President and chairing the Cincinnati Design Awards for several years. He is a guest juror/visiting instructor at several area design schools, was a 2016 AIA Buffalo Design Awards juror and a 2020 AIA Ohio Honor Awards juror. He currently serves as a chair on the Fort Thomas Design Review Board, is the board president of the Children’s Home of Northern Kentucky, and is a past Chair of the Bellevue, KY Historic Preservation Commission. He also takes great joy from coaching his children’s youth sports teams.
