CARRYING A LEGACY FORWARD: SHP designed Hamilton Catholic High School, the precursor to Badin, in 1920. This was the second school SHP designed according to our archives. We then designed the new co-ed Badin High School in 1964 and completed significant additions in 2005 and 2019. We're incredibly proud to continue this legacy with one of our oldest clients.

Badin High School sought to bring athletics to its home campus. Previously, students-athletes had to travel to neighboring schools or community spaces to engage in extracurricular activities, limiting time and availability. Not only does this new athletics complex allow students to practice and play on their own turf, it also promotes Badin pride, tradition, spirit, and unity for generations to come.

"We’re very fortunate to have a facility like this. In my opinion, it’s one of the best in the state when you get up here and see it."
– Nick Yordy, Badin Head Football Coach
"This complex is a game changer. It’s fantastic. Honestly, I think it might be the best place in the city to watch a game — especially at night."
– Chris Slusher, Badin Girls Soccer Coach
"There's something extra special about getting a chance to work on a project 60+years in the making at your alma mater... the place that solidified what I wanted to pursue in college and then professionally."
– Jeffrey Sackenheim, SHP President
