While the majority of our team works with manmade resources, landscape designer Jennie Markel uses plants and other living materials to create beautiful, functional, and sustainable spaces for our clients. 

Armed with a powerful combination of architectural precision and horticultural passion, Jennie believes in the power of landscape design as a way to connect people—especially students— with nature in their everyday lives.  “If I can be a part of the movement to create more and more natural green space in our schools for children to experience on a daily basis, I would be satisfied,” she says.
