Dan has over three decades of distinguished experience in education throughout his career, with roles ranging from teacher to superintendent. His career demonstrates a commitment to innovation, collaboration, and excellence in education that has earned him state-level recognition. In 2022, Dan received the Ohio State Superintendent of the Year Award, presented by the Buckeye Association of School Administrators. Dan is also the founder and director of the Appalachian STEM Collaborative.
