The design showcases Gateway’s introductory courses in Computerized Manufacturing, Welding, HVAC and Industrial Maintenance programs by putting learning on display through storefront windows at street level.
The space includes flexible classrooms, an industrial maintenance workspace, welding simulators with a digital display, collaborative workbenches, tool storage and a food pantry.

SHP partnered with Gateway Community & Technical College to deliver an interior renovation to house the Integrated Manufacturing Hub on its urban campus. The lab supports Gateway’s Computerized Manufacturing, Welding, HVAC and Industrial Maintenance programs.
