Employee Spotlight: Estrella Yang, Interior Designer

Before landing with SHP, Estrella Yang spent over two years interning for various architecture design firms in different countries, intending to gain as much real-world experience as possible before entering the workforce.
As an interior designer, Estrella Yang’s responsibilities include gathering conceptual ideas for projects, 3D modeling and rendering interior spaces, and detailing construction drawings. She enjoys the challenge that interior design provides and the variety of each day that SHP brings.
In her young career, Estrella has had a great deal of experience in the K-12 education world. She hopes to broaden her horizons to graphic and communication design as she progresses in her career and pushes herself further out of her comfort zone.
When not hard at work, Estrella can often be found browsing projects on professional design websites to diversify her design ideas, such as ArchDaily or Behance. It’s difficult for her to ‘turn off’ her creative juices after work, so instead, she likes to do activities that require a lot of effort and time to complete—puzzles, miniature architectural models, and DIYs!
