Designing for the Future: Harnessing the Power of Innovation in Building Design
The impacts and advancements of technology in the AEC industry are undeniable; at the same time, we feel it’s important to note that technology can be a great amplifier, both good and bad. To that end, our profession has a responsibility to use technology thoughtfully and with care, and to ensure that our end goal is for the greater good. It will be critical to think and develop a clear vision of how we plan to implement technology and data—and what the world will look like as a result. By being mindful, we can create a brighter future for ourselves and the next generation.
In our latest executive brief titled Designing for the Future: Harnessing the Power of Innovation in Building Design, Vice President of Technology and thought leader Vern Hendrickson explores technological advancements in our industry, SHP’s journey to becoming a data-enabled organization and our firm’s vision for the future.
