Employee Spotlight: McKenzie Goyert, Interior Designer
Mature, Professional, Supportive, Team Player, Flexible.
McKenzie Goyert is an interior designer who was first hired as a part of the co-op program, where college students can get real-world experience in the field of their choosing before entering the workforce. She was so impressive in her year as a co-op that she was hired full-time in the summer of 2020.
In her current role, McKenzie is responsible for designing the interior of K-12 educational buildings. In addition, she meets with the team to discuss potential design solutions with nothing more than a pen and trace paper, her favorite method of collaboration. She continues to develop her BIM skills and communicates with clients to develop design solutions that both satisfy and challenge the program for the betterment of the user and its environment.
McKenzie is a bright and talented young professional with a very promising future ahead. By the time her career comes to a close, she hopes to leave a legacy that will last for generations.
When McKenzie isn’t designing, she enjoys scoring goals on the soccer field, hiking to new elevations, and traveling alongside her parents in their family motorhome.
