SHP Welcomes Three Members to Our Cincinnati Team
SHP is ecstatic to announce that we have added three new members to our Cincinnati office: Joe Faiola, Stacy Jones and Victor Smith.
Joe Faiola
Joe joins the team as an electrical engineer! Currently residing in Indianapolis, Joe will work mainly in a remote capacity for the foreseeable future, but will assuredly bring a high level of expertise and passion to the firm.
Joe is a 2015 graduate of Purdue University, where he received a BS in electrical engineering. Following graduation, he moved to Chicago and began work as an electrical engineer, specializing in electric and lighting control systems for residential, laboratory, higher education, industrial, healthcare and restaurant projects. In addition, Faiola spent a year as a research specialist with the University of Illinois, Chicago, where he designed prototype sensor devices to track patient health data.
“I got married in August 2020, and my wife and I just moved to Indianapolis after living in Chicago for the pasts six years,” Joe said. “I am thrilled to begin this new chapter in my life. I am hopeful not only for what I can bring to SHP, but also what I will learn along the way.”
And yes, if his last name sounds familiar, it’s with good reason! At SHP, Joe joins big brother Jacob Faiola—a fellow Purdue graduate and engineer—proving smarts and good taste run in the family!
Stacy Jones
Stacy joins the team as construction administrator and adds a great deal of experience to the already diverse construction services team! She earned her bachelor’s degree in interior design from Illinois State University in 2000 but has spent much of her professional career in construction services roles, most recently as a project coordinator with Hills Developers here in Cincinnati.
“After meeting everyone in the office, I am glad to say I think I will fit right in,” said Stacy. “I am thankful for this opportunity and can’t wait to get started!”
In her free time, Stacy can’t resist a good theme party—something we can certainly appreciate as well. She’s also an outdoor enthusiast who finds solace and sanctuary in her wooded backyard.
Victor Smith
Victor joins Team SHP full-time as a project designer. Victor graduated from the University of Kentucky, where he completed both his bachelor of the arts and a master’s degree in architecture. He has spent the last several years as a project manager and designer for established architecture and design firms and has experience with various education market projects.
“A little about me, I used to do a lot of sailing and taught dinghy sailing in Providence, Rhode Island. It saddens me to say, I haven’t been on a boat in ten years, but I hope to end that drought as soon as possible,” said Victor. “Nevertheless, I am beyond excited to work with the SHP team!”
Here’s a fun fact about Victor: Prior to becoming an architect, he spent more than a decade putting his bachelor’s degree in economics and finance to good use, working in various capacities at capital management firms. He’s also a rugby enthusiast.
