Cincinnati, September 17, 2018
Jeff Parker, AIA, LEED AP, ALEP, Director of Educational Visioning at SHP, was recently elected Governor of Ohio (Area 2, Midwest Great Lakes Region) for the Association for Learning Environments (A4LE). As governor, Parker will be responsible for membership outreach and growth in Ohio for a three-year term.
“I’m excited to take on this new role and continue advancing the Association for Learning Environments’ mission in Ohio and the rest of the Midwest Great Lakes region,” said Parker.
Parker has been involved with A4LE for four years as a member of the Ohio chapter committee, as president-elect for the Ohio chapter and now as governor of the Ohio region. “Jeff’s involvement with the Association for Learning Environments is a perfect example of our team’s industry leadership locally, regionally and nationally,” said Lauren Della Bella, president of SHP.
“Jeff is an experienced and dedicated design professional, and we’re confident that the entire region will benefit from his role as governor of Ohio.”
In addition to Parker, four other SHP architects hold A4LE’s Accredited Learning Environment Planner (ALEP) designation—Richard Thomas, Allison McKenzie, Joshua Predovich and Todd Thackery.
